It’s been a while since I’ve done a what’s on my easel. I’m just not sure where the months are disappearing to.
What I’m creating digitally for clients or Monster Moo Studios.
Work this month has largely been digital or online as I’m now working on four websites. I’m still working on the new website for Configure Accounting and the new website for Fay Campbell has moved into the testing and pre-launch checking stage.
With these projects nearing completion, it’s been great to take on two very different new web clients. The first is another full web design for a local dance academy, while the second sees me testing out a new service where I support a business owner through the process of building and designing her own website.
The first stage of any new web design project is a lot of research to identify exactly what each client needs their website to do and finding a theme that supports their business, is consistent with their brand and business values. So, I’ve been spending a lot of time at Themeforest exploring lots of lovely themes. Luckily, the weather has been fantastic recently and I’ve managed to sit out in the garden with the laptop and catch some rays while working.
I’ve not had actual pen and paper out work wise for what seems like months. However, I have been using these lovely animal illustrations created last year for my local school in a programme to advertise their upcoming summer fair.
I love being able to use my illustration and graphic design skills to help like this and it was great fun producing the programme.
Next month I’ll be continuing on the four websites, finally seeing Configure Accounting and Fay Campbell launch, creating a business card for Blue Bricks Construction Consulting using the logo designed back in March and starting work on a new logo for a local Virtual Assistant. There may even be a couple more web design projects in the pipeline so stay in touch and please do get in touch if you have any design or illustration needs for your business.
Until next time
